MAC (monthly active contacts) is a metric used to measure the number of unique contacts engaging with your workspace via Omnichannel on a monthly basis. It is helpful in determining the most suitable subscription plan and add-on packs for workspaces using Omnichannel. Workspaces that require Omnichannel capabilities will be charged accordingly through the MAC add-on.
A contact is considered active when their message is received in the workspace, processed by the routing system, and responded to by an agent. This is a rule suited to the reality of the digital world where workspaces are exposed, and connected to different digital channels, this way there will be no unfair charges in case of attempted fraud, abuse, or malicious attack.
The billing period is represented by a monthly calendar. It starts counting the moment you upgrade to a plan—and resets the counter to zero when a new month begins
Your workspace will automatically enter a 30-day trial for the plan that best supports your usage. During this trial period, while testing our premium features, you have the option to upgrade to one of our paid plans (Pro or Enterprise), reduce your number of users to align with the Starter scalability limits, or downgrade to the Community.
You can upgrade from Starter to Pro directly through the "Manage Subscriptions" page in the platform's admin view. If you are currently on the Pro plan and want to switch to the Enterprise plan, please reach out to us, and we'll be happy to assist you.
